The Hindus’ annual celebration of Navratri, a holy event, has begun. The nine-day festival is celebrated in various parts of India and other parts of the world as well. People also participate in different events during Navratri. There is the meaning of wearing nine colours: pink, white,red, orange, yellow, maroon, dark blue, green, purple, beige.

The goddess Kalratri is represented by the seventh color, royal blue. This color stands for wisdom, insight, truth, and clarity. When her followers turn to Goddess Durga for assistance during difficult times, it is thought that she grants them insight.


Day 8 Navratri Colour: 22 October 2023

Green, the eighth color, stands for Goddess Gauri. Green symbolizes intelligence and creativity. It also represents rebirth, fertility, and expansion. When her worshippers seek her assistance, Goddess Durga bestows creativity and understanding onto them.


Day 7 Navratri Colour: 23 October 2023

Beige, the ninth color, represents Goddess Siddhidatri. Purple is a symbol of transformation and spirituality. It serves as a reminder that Goddess Durga bestows on us the same love and protection that a mother would bestow on Her own children, symbolizing divine motherhood.


Day 8 Navratri Colour: 24 October 2023

Purple Mahagauri, the eighth manifestation of the goddess, is immensely fond of the color purple. The color purple represents enthusiasm and well health. The devotees’ pains are alleviated by the Goddess’ favor. Goddess is pleased if you offer purple flowers, wear purple clothing, and utilize decoration.
